WEP Key Generator
WEP Key Generator hot!
Date added: 08.08.2004

32-bit application that generates 40-bit and 104-bit WEP keys in ASCII or HEX format.  Per the 802.11 specification, the remaining 24-bits which make up the Initialization Vector are concatenated to the beginning of these values to make up the total 64-bit and 128-bit key respectively.  If your motherboard uses an Intel chipset that implements the h/w based RNG, "REAL" will be displayed at the top of the application window.  If this feature is not supported, "PSEUDO" will be displayed at the top of the window and random numbers will be generated using the standard C library function rand().  To determine which chipset you have, run the Intel chipset utility, if you have a chipset >= 810 and a firmware hub is identified then your PC supports this special function.  To enable this functionality, you will need to obtain the Intel Security driver.
